Tomo Cook Scholarship

The Cook family created this scholarship to honor the memory of Tomo Cook, who was a philosophy major at the College at the time of his death in 2007.  The scholarship supports one or two students each year and is renewable.

This award (approximately $1000/yr) is available only to declared philosophy majors who have completed at least four courses in the major.  The recipient should be a “deserving student” (typically, GPA of at least 3.0 in the major) who shares Tomo’s passion for philosophy.  Students who would like to be considered for this award should complete an application at https://cofc.academicworks.com.  Applications are due April 5th for students applying for the 2019-2020 academic year.
