Anthony Williams
Assistant Professor

Anthony Marc Williams (B.A. in Philosophy and Music, Albion College; Ph.D. in Philosophy, Duke University) His primary research interests are in metaethics, specifically value pluralism and moral psychology. Recent work focuses on the relationship between the nature of personhood and ethical theory as well as problems of knowledge and justification in ethics. Lately he has been developing an account of forgiveness in terms of intentional agency. His teaching interests include Philosophy of Human Nature, Ethics, Philosophy of Science, and Philosophy of Race and Racism.
